Engine:
Cat® 3126TAAC 275 h.p. @ 2450 RPM, inline
6 cylinder, turbocharged "Air-to-Air" aftercooled diesel. Peak
Torque 800 ft/lb @ 1470 RPM. H.D. dual element air cleaner w/self powered
Centri precleaner. 900 sq. in. cross flow radiator. Engine block heater,
fuel water separator.
Transmission:
Allison "World Transmission" MD3060 6-speed
automatic, rated @ 300hp & 950 ft/lbs. torque. Torque converter locks
up in 2nd through 5th gear for more power to the rear wheels. PTO is run
off the flywheel instead of the torque convertor for a consistant PTO
percentage for spraying accuracy. Range inhibitor prevents the vehicle
from going into gear except at idle, preventing shock load of the vehicle.
Front Axle:
Exclusive straight front axle beam rated
@ 22,000 lb. capacity with 14,600 lb. multi-leaf front suspension which
utilize off the shelf GMC spindles, kingpins, bearings, seals etc. TRW
integral hydraulic over mechanical power steering, Factory built steering
arm and drag link provide a tight 22' turning radius from centerline of
vehicle.
Rear Axle: 23,000
lb. Two-Speed. 28,500 lb. multi-leaf rear suspension with H.D. 2.0 in.
anti roll bar. 15,000 lb Timbren auxilary suspension.
Frame:108"
cab to axle, 80,000 PSI invertled L frame 10.79 in. x 3.00 in. x .394
in. 2,460,100 lb. RBM. Special non corrosive paint treatment.
Brakes: Full air service
and parking brakes, Front 16.5 in. x 5 in., Rear 16.5 in. x 7 in. 13.2
cu. ft. Bendix air compressor w/filter deleted and routed directly to
air cleaner. Moisture ejector, front limiting valve, rear dust shields.
Cab: Twin sided galvanized
steel, phosphate spray, Uniprime imersion coating, high solids enamel
paint finish with clear coat. Additional Stahly rust treatment on cab
and frame. Raised roof, Fiberglass hood and fenders, Stahly fiberglass
fenderset. Vertical exhaust w/Guard, Custom interior, Air conditioning
w/added charcoal filtration, Tinted glass, AM/FM, Tilt wheel, Intermittent
wipers, Vernier hand throttle, Air drivers seat with fore and aft isolater,
Passenger seat, Air horns. Mirror heads are moved out ten inches
for increased visibility. Full instrumentation.
Electrical: 12V system,
100 amp alternator. Metri-Pac sealed positive lock connectors are water
and corrosion resistant with centralized relay center and circuit breakers.
Dual maintenance free batteries (1500 CCA)
Fuel Capacity: Dual
50 gallon step tanks.
Tires: 385/85R34 8
ply tires rated for 55 mph. 90" track which straddles three 30"
rows. Caster, camber & tow in calibrated on a 30' drive on frame machine.
